Founded in 1985, HEF, the foundation of the Upland Unified School District is a nonprofit organization that provides additional funds to enhance educational experiences and recognize students in many areas.
Your HEF membership helps HEF, Highlander Education Foundation, support Upland students in a time of decreased funds available for our kids! We provide support for:
- The Arts, Theatre, Music, and Dance at UUSD
- Fall and Spring HEF Awards recognizing of outstanding UUSD students
- Classroom grants for teachers to help implement their innovative ideas for instruction
- History day & science fair
- Upland Television (UTV)
- Upland school libraries and literacy programs
- Clubs and other extension learning possibilities
- Other site needs brought to HEF by members and site staff
